Terms of sale

1. Introduction

These terms of sale apply to enrollment in the teaching and activities offered by Islamskole Bærum through islamskole.no.

The agreement is made between you as a consumer and Islamskole Bærum as the seller. To enroll you must be 18 or have consent from a guardian.

2. Prices

The school fee is NOK 5,000 per child per school year. NOK 2,000 is paid on enrollment, and the remainder is due by 15 August and 15 December, or monthly by agreement with the school.

All prices are in Norwegian kroner (NOK) and include all charges. Any additional costs are stated before you complete your enrollment.

3. Payment

Payment is made with Vipps on enrollment. The amount shown is charged immediately when you approve the payment in Vipps. Later installments are paid via payment links sent to you.

Payment confirms that the enrollment was received. Class placement is handled separately and depends on capacity. You receive a confirmation by email.

4. Delivery

The service is delivered as teaching at Skuiveien 40, 1339 Vøyenenga during the stated school year (August to June).

Once the school has confirmed a place, the paid enrollment applies to the stated school year.

5. Right of withdrawal and cancellation

You may cancel your enrollment and receive a full refund at any time before the school year starts.

After teaching has started, the amount paid is not refunded.

Cancellations are sent to baerum@islamskole.no. Refunds are paid to the same payment method within a reasonable time.

6. Complaints

If there is a fault or defect in the service, you can complain by contacting us at baerum@islamskole.no.

The complaint should be sent within a reasonable time after you discovered the fault. We handle it as quickly as possible.

7. Privacy

We process personal data in accordance with privacy law (GDPR), and use the data only to administer enrollment, payment and teaching.

To request access, correction or deletion of your data, contact us at baerum@islamskole.no.

8. Disputes and complaint body

The agreement is governed by Norwegian law.

If we cannot reach agreement, you may contact the Norwegian Consumer Council (forbrukerradet.no) for mediation. Disputes may be brought before the ordinary courts, with Asker og Bærum district court as legal venue.
